Cosmopolitan launches Self Made Summit in partnership with Very.co.uk

Cosmopolitan has today announced the launch of its inaugural Self Made Summit, a one-day event for ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded young women, in partnership with online retailer, Very.co.uk.

Taking place on 22 April at London's prestigious County Hall, the Self Made Summit will feature talks, panel discussions, speed mentoring sessions and interactive networking opportunities with self-made entrepreneurs such as Laura Jackson and Alice Levine, founders of food and lifestyle brand, Jackson & Levine, British Labour politician, Stella Creasy, fashion and beauty vlogger, Louise Pentland, and founder of Ciat é, Charlotte Knight, the publisher says.
 
The summit aims to cover a host of subject areas to boost career confidence including finance, social media expertise, business management, networking and presentation techniques.
 
Cosmopolitan and Very.co.uk will also give attendees the opportunity to win a workspace in Second Home, one of London's most inspiring creative hubs and cultural venues. Second Homes' community includes businesses such as TaskRabbit, Artsy and Threads, and individuals like Marina Willer of Pentagram.
