His first column will appear this Sunday, to coincide with the opening of the party’s autumn conference in Aberdeen.
Pringle, who left his party post in August, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the political world, after spending many years advising former First Minister of Scotland Alex Salmond and his successor Nicola Sturgeon. He played a central role in both the campaign for Scottish independence and May’s General Election.
