Haymarket Media Group and green solutions have announced a new joint venture partnership with the launch of green solutions UK, the all-in-one, sustainable cloud software solution for businesses in horticulture industries.
This joint venture is borne out of their complementary horticultural market expertise, says the publisher. Haymarket has a long-standing position in the horticulture media, data and information space, being the parent company of brands including HortWeek and TASPO, and whose clients include Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Tillington Group of Garden Centres.
Founded in 2011 by Alex Kelm, green solutions provides a cloud software solution that connects horticultural companies with their future customers. The company has more than 1,000 businesses spanning 12 countries using its services.
In Germany, green solutions is an established client of Haymarket’s TASPO, a news brand for the horticulture industry in the region. Over the past decade, Haymarket has helped green solutions connect with businesses who have benefitted from their expertise. This partnership presents new opportunities for the UK horticultural market, providing businesses with the ability to house all relevant content, channels and data on one platform, including websites, webshops, newsletters, CRM, SEO, social media, signage, apps and digital customer loyalty programs.
Kevin Costello, chief executive at Haymarket Media Group said: “Haymarket and green solutions have benefitted from working closely together for some time so this partnership makes perfect business sense.
“Alex has always been great to work with and I am thrilled to now build on our respective expertise, creating a truly exciting product for our UK clients and audiences. Green solutions UK is the perfect marriage of the business we’ve been admiring for the past decade – a market-leading force in SaaS – combined with Haymarket’s existing knowledge and expertise in the UK horticulture industry.”
Alex Kelm, founder and chief executive of green solutions added: “It was important that we found the right partners to launch in the UK and Haymarket was an easy choice.
“We have always had a clear vision of European expansion and being able to announce our place in the UK market is a particularly special milestone. We cannot wait to utilise Haymarket’s well honed expertise and together work to digitally revolutionise the entire horticulture industry.
“Green solutions UK has big plans in the coming months and we will be getting in touch with relevant prospective businesses who can sign up and test the platform for themselves. If you’re in the industry and believe you can benefit from the wealth of digital content, support and software we can offer, we’d love to hear from you.”
The publisher says this joint venture will see a wealth of investment in the region and access to green solutions UK is currently in beta phase. If you have a UK business that would like to know more about green solutions UK, contact sales@green-solutions.net.
