Immediate was also the highest ranked of any media company.
Glassdoor’s Best Place to Work awards are based entirely on voluntary, anonymous feedback from current employees and previous employees, making them the most trusted insight into workplace culture, says Immediate Media.
In determining winners, Glassdoor evaluates company reviews over the past year and measures key attributes including: company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance, outlook and business leadership.
Immediate received an overall ranking of 4.5 out of 5, scoring particularly high on Culture & Values and Work/Life Balance and on leadership; Tom Bureau, Immediate’s founding CEO and current Executive Chairman received a 98% approval rating.
Jo Brandl, Immediate’s Group HR Director, says: “It’s fantastic that Immediate’s been named as the one of the best places to work in the UK. Over the last 10 years, we’ve worked extremely hard to build a people centric culture, which is caring, inclusive and collaborative and brings out the best in our people. We’re proud of this strategy, and believe it’s been fundamental to our growth and success – 2021 will be Immediate’s most successful year financially. Over the last two years, we’ve doubled our efforts to support our teams and it’s great that the people who matter most recognise this. I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who works with us.”
