This service is particularly relevant during the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the new platform has been launched in response to changing working patterns caused by it, says Incisive Media.
Incisive Media currently produces more than 20 virtual events per month for clients ranging from Columbia Threadneedle to Mimecast and Workday. Deskflix builds on this approach to provide an online event solution that delegates can attend from anywhere.
The new platform gives clients the opportunity to broadcast live or on-demand to their audiences, run live audience Q&As and polls, plus online chats with event presenters to build on delegate engagement. It also allows clients to present their branding on a stand in a virtual exhibition hall and display digital collateral for download.
“We know that the information needs of our professional services audiences haven’t changed in recent weeks,” said Incisive Media’s events MD Simone Broadhurst. “This is why we have launched Deskflix, to allow them to continue to interact with their peers and participate in sessions with major opinions formers in an online forum that is convenient to access either live or on demand.”
Deskflix events are supported by a marketing campaign that includes email broadcasts, digital advertising campaigns, paid social media posts plus native advertising.
“It is important that we respond quickly to our clients’ rapidly changing needs in the current trading environment,” said Incisive Media’s group sales director Paul Harvey. “We have built a strong reputation for delivering these kind of events over many years and it is important that we react quickly to leverage our clients’ trust in our digital capabilities while we all come to terms with the implications of COVID-19.”
Deskflix has been launched for every Incisive Media brand. For more information click here to see the Computing version of the platform.
