Livingetc launches paint range!

Livingetc, the modern homes magazine, is launching Livingetc Paint for Modern Living – a stylish new range of paints created by the team behind the magazine and developed with leading paint retailer B&Q and specialist manufacturer Craig & Rose.

Livingetc Paint will be available from 11 May, exclusively from B&Q stores. The 24 modern shades for the home include Plimsoll, T-shirt, Editor’s Grey, Lightbox, Wasabi, Rush Hour, St Paul’s, Paperback and Love Letter.

Each shade has been created to complement other colours within the range, in order to create a soothing bedroom, a stylish hallway or sleek bathroom. The pinky tones in Love Letter even flatter skin tones.

The Livingetc Paint names are inspired by the magazine’s urban heritage –from Rush Hour to Open Plan – and each shade links to urban life, such as Trellick, Pavement, Playground, Siren, Serpentine and Statue. St Paul’s was so titled as the first meeting was held overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral.

Available in eggshell or emulsion, the range starts at £1.48 for a tester pot, £12.98 for a 1 litre pot of eggshell and £19.98 for a 2.5 litre pot of emulsion.

Livingetc aims to deliver the most stylish readers’ homes and gardens, the most glamorous decorating and inspirational renovation ideas, and imaginative design solutions.

Suzanne Imre, editor of Livingetc, says of Livingetc Paint : "Paint is the easiest and most affordable way to update your home. So it is perfect timing for us to launch a range of beautiful, easy-to-live-with colours in conjunction with such a well-respected paint retailer.”

David Haydon, director of Decorative at B&Q, says: “We’ve really enjoyed working with the teams at Livingetc and Craig & Rose on this exclusive paint range.  I love the contemporary colours the team at Livingetc have created – not only are the paints stylish, they’re affordable and also with minimal VOC content they’re ideal for environmentally conscious homeowners.”

Stephen Percy-Robb, managing director of Craig & Rose, says: “Craig & Rose are proud to be working with Livingetc in this new venture.  It’s a first for a magazine to join with an established paint company to create a brand new range of paints, and this collaboration guarantees the customer quality and choice for their home.”
