Jane Ennis replaces Michael Butcher, who recently resigned after four years editing the popular celebrity magazine to look after his mother who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Jane will take up the position from 26th October, and work alongside Michael Butcher for a week before his departure on 30th October.
Jane, who has edited NatMag's stablemate Best magazine since April this year, is credited with taking Now magazine to the top of its market as Editor from 1996 - 2007, and previously spent the past two years as a magazine and newspaper consultant during which time she re-launched the Daily Mail Weekend magazine, First magazine and Hair magazine. She was also Launch Editor of Here Magazine (1995/96) and Deputy Editor and Features Editor of Best (1994/95). Jane was also Features Editor on the Sunday Mirror and Assistant Editor on Today Newspaper. Jane is a four-time winner of a British Society of Magazine Editors award and a Periodical Publishers Association Editor of the Year.
NatMag will now undertake a search for Jane's replacement as Editor of Best.
