Neutrogena partners Marie Claire for Future Shapers Awards campaign

Marie Claire has secured Neutrogena as headline sponsor of its Future Shapers Awards. In a cross-platform campaign running for four months, Marie Claire and Neutrogena will celebrate trailblazing women who are changing the world of work and redefining what it means to be successful.

The Future Shapers Awards judging panel comprises Livia Firth, sustainable fashion campaigner and founder of Eco-Age; Google’s Nishma Robb; Kathryn Parsons, co-founder and CEO of Decoded; and Jane Griffiths, company group chairman EMEA, Johnson & Johnson.

Launching with a VIP ceremony this week, the Future Shapers Awards will honour women from the worlds of media, fashion, technology, art and politics. The campaign will also include print, social and digital native activity that celebrates inspiring women – from those who’ve bounced back from adversity to others changing the rules to achieve success on their terms, say the publishers.

Neutrogena will also sponsor a Marie Claire @ Work supplement, 100,000 copies of which will be distributed at tube stations across the capital. And a supporting campaign, #PassItOn, featuring tips from the winners, will run with online videos, social activity and print.

Justine Southall, managing director of fashion & Beauty, Time Inc. UK, says: “The Future Shapers campaign is one that will resonate strongly with Marie Claire readers and modern women everywhere. Women are defining and achieving success in new ways, which we will be celebrating over four months through our partnership with Neutrogena, who we admire hugely for sharing our vision and support for women.”

Jane Griffiths, company group chairman EMEA, Johnson & Johnson, says: “We are really proud to have partnered with Marie Claire on the Future Shapers Awards. At Neutrogena, our job is to help every woman put her best face forward, with leading innovations which help her feel confident and unstoppable. We want to celebrate resilience and ambition, which is exactly why we wanted to champion these truly outstanding women.”

The 10 awards, including the Neutrogena Future Shaper award, were presented at a ceremony at One Marylebone on 29 September. Special guest, Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thompson presented one of the awards.
