Frank Straetmans takes over from Mike Newman, who has held the position through 2016 for the News Media Association (NMA). Chairmanship of the PDF rotates between the member associations.
Mike Newman commented, “The PDF continues to strive and support the role within the heart of our industry. Discussions continue to make progress with the NFRN and other trade bodies over the issues facing the industry and pleased to represent the NMA as Chairman for the last 12 months. Frank will lead us through the next twelve months with his wealth of knowledge and with great veracity. I wish him every success.”
