RadioTimes.com records busiest month ever

RadioTimes.com, the UK’s leading television and radio news and listings site, recorded the busiest month in its history in November with 6.3 million unique visitors to the site, a 75% year on year growth.

Driven by increased traffic for news, say the publishers, features and original content, RadioTimes.com have attracted new visitors with innovative coverage of the best TV, radio, film and entertainment news; including the Doctor Who finales, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and dramas such as Downton Abbey, The Missing and The Fall.

Tim Glanfield, Editor RadioTimes.com & Digital Products, says: “2014 has seen RadioTimes.com go from strength to strength, consistently breaking records, winning awards, leading the entertainment agenda and continuing to grow in size and stature at an electric pace. This new high score smashes the previous 4.5 million-user record set in October 2014 by an enormous 1.8 million users and proves that despite the entertainment market being extremely crowded there is still a huge appetite for original, high quality entertainment journalism and smart ideas.”

Since becoming part of Immediate Media Co in November 2011, there has been an increased investment Radio Times’ digital portfolio: including a redesign of the site; an increased focus in TV, radio and entertainment news and original content, alongside comprehensive TV and radio listings; and an enlarged editorial team.
