Healy (pictured) has been with ShortList since it launched in September 2007, rising from Advertising Manager to Advertising Director of the title. In his new role Chris will focus on driving the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole commercial operation, working closely with Publishers and sales managers to ensure that they have the data and logistics to best drive further growth. Chris will report to Karl Marsden, Managing Director of Shortlist Media Ltd.
Karl comments: “In the last 2 years alone our revenues have grown by 170%, driven by a series of successful launches. We now operate across six brands in print and digital including ShortList, Stylist, Shortlist.com, Stylist.co.uk, ShortList MODE and Emerald Street. As we continue to look for opportunities to develop and launch new products and optimise our revenues there is a clear need for more support in the centre of our business. Chris is an outstanding executive who has more than earned this promotion.”
Chris says: “I have had an amazing experience working on ShortList from launch through to its current position as the no.1 quality men’s weekly title in the UK. I’m looking forward to taking my experience into a central role and supporting the commercial team’s efforts across the portfolio as we aim for yet another year of high performance.”
Chris will take up his new position in January 2012.
In related news Shortlist Media have announced a series of promotions across their commercial teams for ShortList and Stylist:
On the ShortList team: Chris Lauder is promoted from Senior Account Manager to Advertising Manager; Stewart Dymock is promoted from Senior Account Manager to Fashion Manager; Helen Walker is promoted from Account Manager to Grooming Manager; Kim Allen is promoted from Ad Operations Assistant to Account Manager; and Angela Kilgannon is promoted from Ad Operations Executive to Ad Operations Manager.
On the Stylist team: Fad Jamal is promoted from Ad Manager to Ad Director; and Alex Beeson is promoted from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager.
