The New York Times (NYT), one of the world’s best-known newspapers, has chosen Roularta Printing to print its monthly lifestyle supplement, T Magazine - International Edition. This announcement comes a few months after the printing works teamed up with The Financial Times. Roularta Media Group says its Roeselare-based printing works is the biggest offset printer in Belgium.

T Magazine is distributed with The New York Times International Edition to subscribers, newsstands and travel points across all markets outside of North America (UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia). The first copies rolled off the Roularta press at the beginning of February 2024.

Roularta Printing says it has built up a solid reputation of reliability, benefits from its central location in Western Europe and continues to invest in innovation and sustainability. In 2023, the company announced it had invested 4.5 million euros in energy-efficient drying ovens, reducing its CO2 emissions by 14%.

Helen Konstantopoulos, VP international circulation & development (NYT) said: “We chose Roularta Printing to print T Magazine because of their high quality and significant expertise. Their location at the heart of Europe also allows us to achieve excellent distribution efficiency. We look forward to a successful commercial relationship.”

Steven Renders, director of Roularta Printing added: “We are honoured that NYT has chosen Roularta to print T Magazine Intl. This is an important milestone for us: we have never had the opportunity to print such a significant quantity for the British market before.”
