Roy (pictured) will work alongside Paul Utting, Wyndeham’s CEO, to improve operational efficiencies and provide key support to the group’s eight print and pre-media businesses. As well as working at a group level Roy will also work closely with Ian Tarry who continues to be responsible for Impact and Grange, and Paul Toms who is responsible for manufacturing at Heron and Southernprint.
Roy’s career spans 30 years in the print industry including senior positions within St. Ives plc’s Web Division. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer at Wyndeham until 2007 when he left to set up a restructuring consultancy which involved working at board level in the aerospace, construction and catering industries.
Paul Utting said: “Roy has continued to maintain strong links with Wyndeham and has worked with the group on a number of projects since his departure. I am delighted to welcome him back full time as his extensive experience and operational expertise will serve to further strengthen our management team.”
Roy Kingston said: “Wyndeham under Walstead Investments has a clear strategy and is now one of the dominant players in the sector. I have always enjoyed a close working relationship with the current Wyndeham board and feel that this represents a very exciting opportunity to address the challenges ahead.”
