Jo Elvin, Editor of Glamour comments, “In yet another first, we are so excited to be launching the UK’s first beauty theme park! For two days, our audience will be transported to an amazing world of treatments, tutorials, celebrity guests, masterclasses, incredible free gifts and more. Brand Glamour will truly come to life for one unforgettable weekend at the suitably glamorous Saatchi Gallery.”
Alessandra Steinherr, Beauty Director of Glamour adds, “Glamour is the expert in beauty – we devote more pages to beauty than any other magazine and that is because our readers are as passionate about beauty as we are. We will bring our expertise to life with the Glamour Beauty Festival. Beauty is incredibly inclusive – everyone can feel the excitement of a new lipstick or a great perfume and we love nothing more than to share our secrets with our readers.”
Jamie Jouning, Publishing Director of Glamour says, “Glamour readers are passionate about beauty, with 97% owning premium beauty brands and spending nearly £250 million on beauty in the last 12 month period. We are extremely excited about working with some of the world’s most prestigious beauty houses, helping them to create a unique and personalised experience for our beauty obsessed audience. Our partnership with Fiat is the icing on the cake, enabling us to develop and enhance the concept in a meaningful and truly celebratory manner.”
Lucia Pennesi, Head of Marketing of Fiat UK adds, “We are delighted to be working with Glamour magazine on this brand new initiative for them. When Glamour approached us it was almost fate as the Fiat 500 has always been linked to style and beauty, so we are very excited to be partnering with the team at Glamour. The Fiat 500 has always been seen as the ultimate style accessory with never ending customization possibilities. Take the just launched new Fiat 500 range; always wearing the latest season’s colour, from Glam Coral to Avant-garde Bordeaux, yet still knowing how to remain an icon.”
Bringing the beauty pages of Glamour to life, this unique two-day beauty extravaganza will feature treatments, tips, tricks, tutorials and so much more, say the organisers. Celebrity speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Confirmed brands taking part in the festival so far include Agent Provocateur, Annick Goutal, Benefit, Balance Me, Elie Saab, Elizabeth Arden, Garnier, GHD, Illamasqua, Jimmy Choo, Lancôme, Laura Mercier, Liz Earle, Nars, OPI, Redken, Rimmel and Sally Hansen.
At the Fiat Zone, make-up artists will be on-hand to re-create iconic beauty looks while also hosting colour master classes on how to “rock this season’s colour”. Alongside will be the Glamour fashion team’s trend workshops on reinventing classic pieces this season.
The Glamour Beauty Festival will be held on March 12 and 13 at the Saatchi Gallery, London, SW3 4RY.
