Grazia to publish biggest ever issue

Grazia, Bauer Media’s weekly glossy for upscale women interested in fashion, news, beauty, celebrity and lifestyle, is to publish its biggest ever issue during London Fashion Week in direct response to record levels of advertiser demand.

The special 300-page collector’s edition will hit the newsstands on Tuesday 20 September 2011.

Grazia’s unique mix of content has been designed to deliver brands with a premium advertising environment each week, and its endorsement has proven influence on both designer and high street sales, say the publishers. The collector’s edition was created in response to a 60% uplift in advertising pages year-on-year, reflecting Grazia’s unique mix of advertisers including Prada, Dior, Gucci, Selfridges, Top Shop, Tods, Estee Lauder and Tiffany, and many other designer brands.

Jo Morrell, managing director of Grazia, said: “Grazia is the ultimate media brand for fashion-conscious upscale women and we are committed to delivering a product rich in editorial and commercial innovation. The London Fashion Week edition is a real milestone moment in the development of Grazia, demonstrating a continually increasing demand in the marketplace and underlining Bauer Media’s continued investment in developing its brands.”

Grazia claims to be the most influential brand in the sector thanks to its ability to drive its upscale female audience into store to purchase. Prior to this issue, 194-pages was the biggest published, in its usual stapled format. This issue will be the first edition to ever be published with a bound spine, turning the London Fashion Week issue into a collector’s edition and a ‘must-be-in’ for brands. Demand has been such that a waiting list has been in place for months and many brands have also chosen to advertise in other issues this month, leading to bigger issues across September.
