LUXX magazine returns to The Times this Saturday

The first edition of The Times’ revamped LUXX magazine, curated by new editor-in-chief Jeremy Langmead, is published in this Saturday’s edition of The Times.

‘The best of everything’ first edition firmly sets the ambition and tone for the new luxury offering, which takes a “contemporary approach to luxury”. From the world’s largest heart diamond to the latest penthouse must-haves, from handcrafted British skis to chic Moroccan boltholes, the first edition is a must read, say the publishers.

Jeremy Langmead, LUXX editor-in-chief said: “LUXX isn't about the most expensive, it's about the best and putting together the first issue has been a joy. We have an absolute crack team of experts collaborating on each edition and the LUXX reports, who are fully focused on delivering intelligent luxury: craftsmanship, good design, purpose, giving and giving back. LUXX is about the life you lead, or would like to lead. It’s about the good times.”

Dominic Carter, Chief Commercial Officer, News UK said: “With LUXX magazine, The Times has created an intelligent and enticing product that understands both the luxury market and its reader. Our products are insight and consumer-led to connect advertisers to these audiences and with the relaunch of LUXX we have created the perfect match for our luxury advertisers.”

Anna Murphy, fashion director, The Times, said: “LUXX will bring wit and humour to luxury lifestyle coverage across both print and digital editions of The Times. We know that our affluent and well-travelled readers aspire to enjoy the best products, experiences and innovations in all aspects of their lives and LUXX will be sure to satisfy those desires.”

A contemporary lifestyle magazine, LUXX aims to celebrate the world’s most beautiful design solutions, whether it’s a bespoke Bugatti, a weekend in the life of an innovative CEO, food trends, grooming discoveries, style shoots featuring men and women of achievement and insider access to exclusive places no one usually gets to see.

The magazine draws upon a wealth of Times experts and writers, such as fashion director Anna Murphy, and property and finance commentator Anne Ashworth, as well as external specialists such as Sacha Bonsor of Boat International, racing driver and commentator David Green, Wallpaper* design columnist Nick Vinson, jewellery editor Alice Edwards, watch editor Joanne Glaseby, as well as award-winning novelists and biographers such as Dan Davies, Anthony Quinn and a host of other notable contributors, says News UK.

The first of 2017’s four editions will be published on Saturday 11 March with bespoke LUXX reports published in paper throughout the year providing in “depth and authoritative coverage” on topics including property, watches & jewellery, cars and travel.
