MailOnline says: According to figures released today by ABC, the MailOnline recorded 14,702,749 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors last month. This is a 5.4% increase on the previous record set in January 2015, and represents a year-on-year increase of 30.8%
This record was aided by successive days recording more than 17 million Global Daily Unique Visitors. On the 4th and 5th February 2015, there were 17.1 million and 17.9 million Unique Visitors to the website and apps, as they became the two best days ever for traffic on the MailOnline.
The MailOnline also recorded 219 million Global Monthly Unique Visitors in February 2015. Across the website and apps, there were 219,390,528 Unique Visitors last month, representing a year-on-year increase of 32.3%, equivalent to an additional 53 million Monthly Unique Visitors compared with February last year.
The MailOnline saw an astonishing month for video in February 2015 with 82,168,387 Global AV Plays across its website and apps. This 82 million represents an additional 20 million AV Plays on the previous record set in January 2015, equating to a massive 32.3% month-on-month increase and represents growth of 145.8% year-on-year.
In the UK, there were 64.8 million Monthly Unique Visitors to the website and apps last month, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.1%.
Meanwhile, there was a record 5,806,465 Average Daily Unique Visitors to the MailOnline last month in the UK. This represents an increase of 0.8% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 21.6%.
This means that in February 2015, there were over one million additional Unique Visitors to the website and apps in the UK on average each day, compared with February last year.
There were also new records achieved for Global Average Daily Unique Visitors on the iPhone and Android apps last month. There were 664,612 and 411,634 Global Average Daily Unique Visitors to the iPhone and Android Apps respectively in February 2015, representing monthly growth of 3.4% and 0.7% each.
