Maney renews agreement with Institute

Maney Publishing has announced that the publishing agreement with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) has been renewed for another three years.

The Transactions of the Institutions of Mining and Metallurgy journals; Mining Technology, Applied Earth Science and Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy are published by Maney on behalf of the Institution of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) in association with the AusIMM, and members of both Institutions have online access to content.

The AusIMM represents the interests of professionals associated in all facets of the mining, exploration and minerals processing industries. It was established in 1893 to advance science and engineering in the minerals industry, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas to enhance the professional excellence of its members. The AusIMM represents and supports an 8,000-strong membership base which is located in a network of Branches throughout the Asia Pacific region, and with a growing international member base.

The Transactions journals are part of the MORE (Maney Online Research E-journal) Materials Science & Engineering Collection alongside other prominent titles in the field such as Materials Science and Engineering, Ironmaking and Steelmaking and International Materials Reviews. In 2010, Institutions wishing to subscribe to Applied Earth Science, Mining Technology and Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy can do so at a 10% discounted price through the Earth Science Journals Collection.
