Specialist Media Show announces speaker line-up

Today The Specialist Media Show announces its line-up of top Media Speakers who will share their expertise and experience at the Conference sessions of the inaugural show on 25th May 2010.

The Specialist Media Show Conference will feature senior directors of media businesses, with expertise in consumer and b2b, print, events and digital media, plus experts in marketing, events & digital media.

The conference includes panel discussions on live events, digital media, relationship marketing, commercial partnerships and the future of specialist media. Mark Elliott, Managing Director of Time Out, will be contributing to the debate on events, discussing the launch of Time Out Live

Trevor Foley of TFconnect, will lead the debate on events, sharing examples of specialist event launches in business and consumer markets

Miles Galliford, co-founder of SubHub, will bring an insight into the strategies adopted by “born digital” niche information businesses

Ben Greenish, MD of the Spectator, will share his experiences of taking the Spectator into mobile, digital editions and ebook versions, and charging for online content

Craig Hanna, Director of Econsultancy, will review the experiences of econsultancy in using free content to build an audience and a profitable media business

Peter Harris, MD of Centaur Special Interest Media, will share his experiences of cross-promoting magazines, web and regional events in the Homebuilding group.

Paul Hood, Head of Digital of Mirror Group, will discuss case studies of cross-media campaigns for clients and provide tips on building successful multi-media sales teams

Claire Jenkinson, MD Conferences at RBI, will provide insights into how media owners can successfully launch conferences

Steve Kemish, Director at Cyance, will share case studies of publishers who have built relationships with their customers and prospects using email marketing

Barry McIlheney (pictured), CEO of PPA, will contribute to a debate on the future of specialist media, across print, digital and events

Jenny Moseley, owner of Opt4, will provide tips on how to build a prospect and customer database

Fiona Ryder of Stream Exchange, will provide tips on planning, creating and marketing online video content

Duncan Tickell, MD of Magicalia will share examples of how specialist media owners can work closely with niche retailers to develop e-commerce

Louise White, Group Marketing Director at Incisive, will provide practical tips on when and how publishers should use social media.
