Time Inc UK Advertising launches The Foundry

Time Inc UK Advertising has launched The Foundry, responsible for the delivery of innovative content-led marketing solutions for Time Inc UK’s commercial partners.

Carla Faria, formerly director of Solutions at Say Media, returns to Time Inc UK to lead The Foundry. Carla will report to Sam Finlay, managing director, Time Inc UK Advertising in the newly created role of director of content, The Foundry.

Sam Finlay says: “I am delighted to welcome Carla back to Time Inc UK, her creative energy and enthusiasm for our brands is second to none. Under Carla’s leadership, The Foundry will significantly bolster our existing content offering for clients.

“The Foundry will offer a suite of next-generation marketing solutions that engages audiences in their passions across multiple platforms. There is a huge difference between content and content that engages, inspires and entertains. The Foundry will bring our commercial partners closer to the brands that ignite their passions.”

The Foundry’s team of creatives and content generators will be responsible for incubating and delivering big ideas in partnership with Time Inc UK’s clients. The Foundry brings together branded content solutions, editorial franchise creation, and commercial content and video production teams under one offering.

Carla adds: “I couldn't be more thrilled to return to Time Inc. UK and work with some of the most influential brands in the UK to create and deliver clever, effective partnerships with our clients.

“Content is the marketing tool of choice right now, and with good reason. When done well, it can start conversations and change minds but content only works if the voices behind the work are trusted and influential. Time Inc. UK's brands have earned the trust and permission to engage with the passions of consumers and I can’t wait to unlock that potential for our commercial partners.”

Time Inc UK was that first major media owner member of the Content Marketing Association (CMA), and joined the organisation in June 2014, says the company.
