With what the organisers claim is a record number of applications received from all over the world across the 12 Award categories, it was a difficult assignment for the judges to arrive at a decision, but the final short list has resulted in a total of 37 finalists from 17 countries.

Chief Executive of Triangle, Neil Jackson, commented "The shortlist reflects an inspiring range of product and service offerings. There has been a real variety of applications for 2009 and the shortlist illustrates that diversity and quality."
The Awards are judged by a panel of notable industry figures, whose identities remain a secret until after the winners have been announced. The judges meet on the 6th May to make their final decision on the winners, hours before announcing them at the annual black tie gala dinner at The Hilton Munich Park Hotel, Germany. German TV personality Nadine Hollmann will present the Awards on the night, together with a senior executive from each of the sponsoring companies.
