ENDS partnership takes Green Monday national

Green Monday, a corporate sustainability event, is partnering with the Haymarket environmental publisher ENDS to expand nationwide.

The popular monthly London event will spread to Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. More locations are due to be announced soon.

The expansion means that climate change, corporate social responsibility and sustainability leaders from across the UK can now access talks, round-tables, meetings and high-profile speaker events that are a part of Green Monday.

Ben Patten, the event’s founder, said: “Green Monday fulfils a specific niche in the market – to help people make the kinds of connections that are necessary to build a low carbon economy.

“With our national network of events starting, this deal with ENDS and Haymarket will help us keep the London event fresh, bringing new people and new ideas and helping us hit the ground running with our national programme.”

Nick Rowcliffe, editor-in-chief of ENDS, said: “ENDS believes in the Green Monday concept and is delighted to be supporting its further development. ENDS will leverage its knowledge and contacts to advise on topics, content and speakers, and will bring Green Monday to the attention of its wide network of sustainability professionals.”

The next London event will see climate change MPs Joan Ruddock, Simon Hughes, and Gregory Barker discuss the role of business in the move to a low-carbon future.
