Future plc, yesterday announced Anh Tuan Huynh as the Auto Tech Editor of techradar.com. A US based, global role, Huynh will lead the editorial efforts surrounding the boom in technology integration in today’s automobiles.

Huynh brings to techradar.com extensive experience in both the automotive and technology industry. He most recently served as Automotive Editor for Purch and Technical Marketing Manager for ASUS Computer International. At Purch, Huynh launched their automotive coverage and published automotive technology content to Tom’s Hardware. At ASUS, he headed up technical marketing on the notebooks, smartphones, tablets and wearable product lines. With cars and tech as his personal hobbies and passions, Huynh is the perfect fit to lead techradar’s expanded automotive technology content, says Future.

"The next major technological battleground is in automotive,” said Anh Tuan Huynh. “I'm excited to be in the front row covering new developments from advanced safety technologies, autonomous cars, alternative fuel and high-performance vehicles with the techradar team."

With 20 million users globally, techradar is one of the most influential tech websites on the planet, says Future. As the automotive industry advances with technology, techradar aims to be a leading source for consumers that view their cars as an integral part of their tech lives.

"It's clear that our cars represent one of the most exciting frontiers in technology, and I'm delighted that we have hired someone who brings not only a wealth of car knowledge, but also the tech knowledge to really speak to our audience with the authority and understanding that they demand," said Patrick Goss, Global Editor-in-Chief of techradar.
