Myriad talks to the world

Myriad, the software package that is a modular approach to providing advertising, book/products, event and subscription administration to publishers of all types and sizes can now boast a variety of email integration methods.

The basic internal functions can be used for the sending of one-off emails, subscription renewal notices, circulation re-registration advices, order acknowledgements, invoices and receipts, as well as limited bulk email.

Now, volume marketing email can be sent, monitored and reported on via DotMailer, Adestra or Communicator third-party add-ons. This, says software developer Gordon & Gotch, gives an unprecedented choice for a publisher, who may wish to stick with an existing provider or select the ‘best-fit’ for their intended purposes.

The information can be recorded against each contact used in an appropriate manner. This may be on a bulk/marketing email ‘tab’ or a ‘diary’ entry attached to the contact to add to the history of activities associated with that contact, forming part of the ‘total customer view’ available within the package.
