PPA announce line-up for free seminar programme

The PPA has revealed the full programme of seminars taking place at the free exhibition running alongside its 2012 conference next week.

The line-up features a range of speakers from publishers and leading suppliers to the industry, who will show through case studies and product demonstrations how they are delivering business benefits to UK publishers.

Highlights include a session from Paul de la Nougerede, Digital Operations Director at the Telegraph Media Group, who will discuss how the publisher developed and launched the award-winning Cascade advertising format, powered by Google DoubleClick.

Stephen Shaw, Opportunities Director at Blippar, will also discuss how the company’s image-recognition app brings print magazines to life with exciting augmented reality experiences and instantaneous content.

Other speakers on the day include Adestra, YUDU, Abacus e-Media, e-Dialog, PCS, Ultra Knowledge, with the full programme and registration details available at www.ppaconference.com.

The seminars form part of the free exhibition, which runs alongside the main PPA Conference for the first time this year. This part of the day is open to anyone from the industry and provides the perfect opportunity to see, hear and experience the services provided by the leading suppliers to the industry, says the PPA.

As well as the seminars, delegates also have access to a legal clinic and a networking lounge area for pre-arranged meetings.

Tickets are still available for the main part of the event taking place at the Hilton London Metropole on May 9. The conference, Publishing+, boasts a line-up of leading names from consumer and business media publishing, who will explore how today's brands are communicating with audiences across a multitude of platforms.
