Stephanie Hyde launches Global Media Hub

Launched in the UK at the beginning of April, Global Media Hub is a new entrant into the free magazine sector.

Stephanie Hyde, founder and director of Global Media Hub, has pulled together a team with over 50 years’ experience in publishing and over 20 years of specialist expertise in magazine placement to offer publishers the choice of an independent company in the free magazine market, says Global Media Hub.

Publishers can expand their current circulation by taking advantage of Global Media Hub’s range of bespoke services including strategic placement across the globe, creative brand to hand activity and visibility around key world events.

“The time was ripe for a dynamic independent to enter the marketplace to offer publishers more choice,” says Stephanie Hyde. “Free magazine distribution is our core area and exemplary customer service is our goal. We have a comprehensive network of placement locations coupled with the ability to offer flexibility and scale to our publishers via our logistics partner.”

“We offer a bespoke distribution programme to each of our publishers to help them reach their target audience. For example, a luxury lifestyle title can take pride of place in top New York hotels, be hand delivered to super yachts on the Cote d’Azur whilst also being stocked in the Eurostar* lounge in London and distributed around Cannes Film Festival. Similarly a mainstream baby title can be placed in nurseries, medical facilities and leisure centres across specific regions of the UK. Such activity provides great visibility to drive brand awareness and increase response for advertisers.”

Global Media Hub are already making their presence felt. As The Week celebrated their 20th anniversary last week, Global Media Hub organised the hand out of 100k free copies at tube stations in London, Edinburgh and Manchester.

To enhance their offer with a strategic route to market, Global Media Hub acquired ABC accredited REACH by Citipost. They boast nearly 200 merchandised magazine racks in top offices across London with access to Canary Wharf and companies such as Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and Broadgate Estates. They also have access to luxury apartments in Canary Wharf including Pan Peninsula and Ontario Tower with further racks in universities across London. Global Media Hub have incorporated these sites into their placement network to give publishers access to these desirable audiences.

Global Media Hub clients include Time Inc, Time Magazines Europe and Dennis Publishing.
