TeamRock launches new online subscription model

On 3rd November, as part of its on-going international expansion, TeamRock launches a brand new subscription service, TeamRock+, available via www.teamrock.com.

TeamRock+ will give the company’s expanding international audience, which, say the publishers, has seen growth both digitally and in print throughout the world, instant access to the rich editorial content of three of its monthly magazine titles: Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog.

TeamRock+ includes full magazine content from Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog available globally for the first time, with new content every day and some stories published ahead of their street date. With mag features tailored for online, TeamRock+ also includes daily hand-picked archive content spanning 30 years of publishing.

• For £3.99 per month fans can subscribe to TeamRock+ giving them the chance to read each new issue – including all the latest interviews and reviews, complete with HD images and bonus content – before it hits the newsstands

• For £4.99 per month fans can subscribe to TeamRock+ and receive one of TeamRock’s iPad/iPhone magazines: Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Prog or The Blues Magazine.

• For £6.99/£7.99 per month fans can subscribe to TeamRock+ and also receive one print edition of their choice. (Metal Hammer & TeamRock+ is £6.99; Classic Rock or Prog & TeamRock+ is £7.99)

The site will launch with a 30 day free trial and by becoming a member, people will receive a variety of on-going, exclusive partner benefits. A Christmas membership special will include two tickets to one of Hard Rock Hell’s iconic festivals: Ibiza Road Trip 6 (accommodation included), Hammerfest, Hard Rock Hell United, Hard Rock Hell AOR, Hard Rock Hell Prog or Sci Fi Weekender.

Scott Rowley, Editorial Director at TeamRock says: “For years readers around the world have wanted access to our magazine content. TeamRock+ means that – wherever they are – people can read about their favourite artists on desktop, tablet or mobile. Our audience is truly international yet our mag sales are currently largely domestic. Now with TeamRock+ we have another ground-breaking way for us to get our portfolio to a wider audience. This is not a move away from print, but a way of taking the values of print – the access and insight that comes with great writing – and combining it with the interactivity and immediacy of online.”
