Grazia launches virtual skincare festival

Grazia has launched Grazia Skin Sessions – Grazia’s first virtual skincare event in partnership with skincare brand SkinCeuticals.

Grazia launches virtual skincare festival
Joely Walker: “Following the success of Grazia’s Beauty Power Hours at the end of last year, we knew we wanted to launch another virtual event.”

Hosted on Zoom between 22-26th February, the festival will cover all things skincare with some of the most well-respected names in the business. Including both talks and interactive masterclasses, audiences will be able to learn about the latest skincare innovations, follow along live with the experts, and discover the best SkinCeuticals products and must-haves, say the publishers.

The festival comes as Bauer Media research found that 30% of UK consumers believe that they now have a closer relationship with their favourite magazine brand compared to pre-lockdown, looking to magazine brands to provide escapism, information and connection through insightful, entertaining and relevant content. Recent Grazia research also revealed that 53% of women are currently spending more time on their skincare routine compared to pre-pandemic while 49% are more interested in skincare now than before the UK’s first lockdown.

In one of the most anticipated sessions, global make-up artist Bernicia Boateng, influencer and Founder of Chinutay & Co Chinutay and blogger Emma Hoareau will share their skincare journeys and the best advice they’ve been given along the way. Or, continues Grazia, if attendees are looking for more of a practical session, they can take a masterclass on how to nail that red-carpet glow with make-up artist to the stars Naoko Scintu or master the ultimate stress-relieving facial massage with celebrity facialist Michaela Bolder.

As part of the partnership, SkinCeuticals ambassadors will also host three talks: audiences can discover how to supercharge their lockdown skincare routines with Dr. Saleena Zimri, learn how to break up with their bad beauty habits with Dr. Jonquille Chantrey or decode the benefits of Vitamin C with Dr. Emma Craythorne. SkinCeuticals also hosted an IGTV session on Grazia’s Instagram and advertorials and adverts will sit in print and online respectively.

All Grazia Skin Sessions ticketholders will also be in with a chance of winning a SkinCeuticals product giveaway worth over £150.

Joely Walker, Grazia Beauty Director, said: “Following the success of Grazia’s Beauty Power Hours at the end of last year, we knew we wanted to launch another virtual event – this time focused on skincare, an area that has proven increasingly important to our readers. With this in mind, we’ve curated Skin Sessions with some of the best skincare specialists around, giving our audiences access to expert advice, tips and tutorials, including sessions with our brilliant partner SkinCeuticals.”

Jackie Tuzee, Brand Business Director, SkinCeuticals added: “SkinCeuticals is an authority in topical antioxidants and we are delighted to partner with leading doctors and skincare experts to celebrate our biggest launch to date – Silymarin CF. The Grazia Skin Sessions virtual events are a fantastic way to deep dive into the world of topical antioxidants and learn directly from these industry leaders all you need to know about skincare and in-clinic treatments for optimal skin health.”

Tickets are on sale now. Ticketholders will receive event information in the order confirmation email, and a Zoom link will be shared in reminder emails 24 hours and 60 minutes before the sessions start. Zoom links are unique, cannot be shared and are accessible via one device only, says Grazia.
