Kennedy Publishing says the series will kick off with The World Of… Messi, a tribute to footballer Lionel Messi. The 84-page issue provides a season-by-season guide to Messi’s career, chronicling his years at Barcelona to his recent transition to the MLS with Inter Miami. The bookazine will uncover the star’s humble beginnings, his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo, the legacy he left at Barca, and the story of how he achieved a dream by winning the World Cup for his country. All that, plus a look at Messi’s most magical moments, his perfect partnerships and more.
“Lionel Messi is regarded by football fans as one of the greatest footballers of all time,” says editor of the bookazine, Ash Rose. “As he edges towards the end of his illustrious career, it feels like the perfect moment to look back on his legacy and what has made him such an icon of the game.”
The issue is on sale 17th July 2024 at retailers across the UK, and will be available in Australia, Canada and the USA later in the year, added the publisher.
