MEN Media to launch Business Week magazine

MEN Media has announced the launch of a new free weekly business magazine: Business Week.

The launch of the brand new publication - and companion website - will take place on Thursday, 25th November and will be targeted at key decision makers in Greater Manchester.

The 40-page colour magazine will be the only weekly magazine of its kind in the area, say the publishers. Its pages will be packed with all the latest news, in-depth features, interviews, advice and profiles - designed to be a must-read publication for anyone interested in successful business.

Business Week is backed by the MEN's expanded team of specialist business journalists and will contain a wealth of exclusive material. Two new editorial roles have been created including a Head of Business.

The launch will also benefit MEN Media's existing titles. Starting from next Monday the MEN will publish four pages of business news, information and analysis in each day's paper and even more each Thursday.

MEN Media's weekly paid for and free titles will also publish dedicated business pages for the first time and there will also be increased online business coverage on all companion websites.

MEN Managing Director, David Sharrock, said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of Business Week.

"This investment shows that MEN Media are committed to producing the best in business coverage in Greater Manchester across our portfolio of newspapers and websites, which will benefit the business community in the area as a whole."

Distribution of the new title, which will build to 12k targeted copies by the end of January 2011, will include direct mail to individual business people and businesses, as well as being delivered to pick up points in the city centre, airport and business parks.
