First launched as Poetry Nation in 1973, for 45 years PN Review has provided a comprehensive and detailed coverage of contemporary poetry. Over 200 back issues and counting are available as part of the new, fully searchable, digital archive. Each issue includes important editorial, letters, news, articles, interviews and poetry, combining in the archive to provide a fascinating overview of the last 45 years of British poetry, say the publishers.
Every issue, page and article of the comprehensive backfile is covered by the Exact Editions’ search function, with results highlighted and easily referenced for seamless academic use. Institutional subscribers can ensure that all of their users have unlimited IP access to the full archive, with individual poetry enthusiasts also able to subscribe via the Exact Editions website or the app.
Michael Schmidt, Editor and co-founder of PN Review said about the archive launch: “The digital edition with Exact Editions provides the perfect technical and visual platform for our archive project. At PN Review we are excited at the opportunity to attract new subscribers, as well as the added value for existing customers, that the complete archive presents.”
Managing Director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, said: “Exact Editions is delighted to work with PN Review to develop this archive of invaluable cultural importance. Our institutional subscribers and their researchers will be thrilled that PN Review is now available with full IP access to the complete archive.”
